Ethics & Codes of Practice?
I am a COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland) Pluralistic Counsellor. I’m bound by COSCA’s Statement of Ethics and Code of Practice which can be made available to you, or you can view it here
Confidentiality?
I prioritise your confidentiality and will treat our sessions in the strictest confidence. There are exceptions to this where confidence would have to be broken if any of the following is disclosed: Concerns about the safety of yourself, a child or a vulnerable adult, a disclosure relating to a serious crime, money laundering and terrorist activities. However I would always aim to have a discussion around any concerns as they arise.
I will send a copy of my Counselling Agreement prior to our first session.
Payment & Cancellation?
Payment is to be made upon booking with a cancellation notice of 48-hours; otherwise, the missed session will be charged.
